strengthen teaching and training programmes in natural resource and
environmental economics and management at Indian institutes; |

commission, coordinate, and conduct research in natural resource and
environmental economics and management; |

sponsor and conduct workshops, seminars and conferences on various
themes related to natural resource and environmental economics and
management ; |

To liaise with various organizations engaged in natural resources and environmental management and share research-based information with them through publications and other media. |
